Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader (6 month FTC) to manage a small team within a medium-sized warehouse. Our client offers an e-commerce Logistics Service, so someone with a background in this would be desirable (however not essential).
The key purpose of this role is to ensure all aspects of customer requirements are met within the agreed budgets, H&S standards and quality compliance. They are looking for a strong character, capable of promoting high standards in the warehouse in order to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Team Leader:
- Overseeing the goods in procedure
- Leading the on-shift team, with a continuous improvement mindset in order to develop more efficient working practices
- Driving successful achievement of KPI targets
- Recognising future demands on the shift team and driving readiness to meet these needs
- Responsibility for people processes on shift e.g: talent reviews, disciplinaries, development plans, etc
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards in line with health and safety regulations, working alongside the Risk Manager
Key Skills/Experience:
- Strong leader with a demonstrable track record of overseeing and implementing KPI’s
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Previous experience of managing, motivating and developing teams within a fast moving environment
- Excellent Team player
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or similar
