Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Sales Manager to work for a fast-growing company in the Fuel sector. The Sales Manager will collaborate with the CEO to set and drive sales strategy and sales-related hiring needs. They will translate the strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth and implement goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning to enhance sales across the organisation. The Sales Manager will oversee company sales and employee productivity, building an inclusive culture to ensure team members thrive and organisational outcomes are met. They will ensure effective recruiting, on-boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of the sales team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a Team in a Sales environment, with a results-focused mind-set and exceptional negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Motivate the Sales Team to ensure the best results possible are being achieved
Set revenue targets for members of the Sales team
Develop continual coaching plans for all members of the Sales Team
Attend key meetings with other departments
Attend industry events to generate leads and network with stakeholders
Create reports on Sales performance against the budget
Set and meet KPIs, margins and volume targets
Deliver performance management and monitor Sales Team members
Key Skills/Experience:
Possess strong interpersonal skills, as a natural relationship builder
Hold a results-focused strategic mind-set, with the ability to solve problems
Excellent negotiation skills
Previous experience managing a team focused on achieving targets
Excellent data analysis and forecasting knowledge in sales, with a knowledge of systems.
