Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + car
This fast paced retail company is looking for an experienced and inspiring Operations Manager to lead, motivate and develop a large team within their new distribution centre in Luton. You will need a confident leadership style with an aptitude for training and be able to engage and communicate at all levels. Previous experience with the storage and distribution of food products would be preferred. This company invests heavily in the on-boarding and training of their staff and therefore the successful candidate will need to be able to live away from homer during the week for the first 9 months to undergo their full training programme.
- Lead, motivate and train a large team of c600 colleagues
- Co-ordinate stock takes
- Maintain Health and Safety regulations
- Manage and achieve KPIs
- Manage merchandising plans
- Experience from food distribution – multi temperature controls
- Proven man management abilities
- Calm , analytical and self motivated
- Able to multi task
