Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are urgently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a team at a retail site in Widnes. The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the Widnes site, including management of staff, inventory and Health & Safety. A strong character is required to lead the team in the right direction whilst implementing new processes and procedures, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the Widnes retail site
Supervise, motivate and train staff, including performance evaluations
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products
Maintain store standards, including cleanliness and organisation
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
Manage budgets and control expenses
Key Skills/Experience:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager within Warehouse environments
Strong character with excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team
Able to effectively implement new processes
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Continuous improvement mindset
