Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme
Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join a Global Logistics and Supply Provider. The role focuses on liaising with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure orders are completed within customer-set time-frames. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the Supply Chain industry, feeling comfortable speaking with customers and suppliers, with excellent attention to detail and high levels of organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring suppliers have processed purchase orders
- Expediting orders to reduce lead times where possible, keeping any delays to a minimum
- Reviewing all supplier provided documentation to ensure their compliance
- Liaising with clients, keeping them updated on the progress of their orders
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies that may occur or are reported by the customer
- Maintain close communications and develop relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers
Key Skills/Experience:
- Experience working within the Supply Chain industry, speaking with suppliers and customers
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- High levels of organisation
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face, via email and via phone
- Excellent customer service skills
