Location: Liverpool area Hybrid working
Salary: £60-65,000 plus car allowance and excellent benefits
Summary:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist provider of FMCG products. They are looking to recruit an Operational Data and Analytical Manager to support the business strategy and the logistics network in providing management information and business analysis for activities carried out within their automated operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Extracting, validating and quality assessing data from a variety of ERP systems using a combination of MS Excel, MS SQL and other Business Intelligence tools and understanding what the data is saying in the context of the project. Manhattan experience would be preferred.
* Generating new data sets from a base platform or via assumption modelling.
* Prepare reports based on detailed analysis for presentation to the operational teams.
* Working closely with colleagues to provide ad hoc data interpretation on a reactive basis.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Data analytic skills from a related degree essential.
* Must have experience within the logistics and supply chain sectors.
* Experience of automated operations.
* Must have managed a team – 3 direct reports.
* The ability to analyse, model and interpret complex, varied data.
* A high level of mathematical ability.
* Advanced user of Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, SQL(T-SQL) and VBA.
* A methodical, logical approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
