Summary:
Our Client is a market leader within the supply chain and logistics industries. This organisation provides services to customers across a breadth of areas including people, consultancy and warehousing space.
As they continue to grow, they are now looking to appoint a lead generation executive to play an important role in supporting the continued growth of new business by generating leads, setting appointments and feeding opportunity and information to field based Business Development Managers. This role is all about feeding the top of a sales funnel with outbound telephone activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using a combination of existing internal prospect data and market research, identify potential new business leads.
- Maintain a consistent level of outbound telephone activity to introduce the services of the business to prospective new customers.
- Set appointments for field based business development managers to visit key decision makers within target organisations.
- Nurture leads and build relationships with prospects through effective communication and follow-up
- Provide first-class service and build rapport with customers
- Update the CRM system with accurate data
- Manage lead pipelines and maintain accurate records of lead generation activity in the CRM system
Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in outbound telephone activity in a B2B context.
- An understanding of how to go about lead generation and setting appointments for a business development team
- Well-developed skills and disciplines in CRM management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
