Salary: up to £32,000
Summary:
This successful and rapidly expanding logistics and fulfilment business are looking for an ambitious HR assistant/administrator who is wanting to develop their career further within people management. You will need to be an excellent communicator with first class administrative and organisational skills. This company would support CIPD qualifications for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR compliance – monitoring attendance, disciplinary and grievance procedures, recruitment activity
- Managing agency usage and raising POs as necessary
- Assisting with H&S compliance
- Assisting with internal payroll function – Sage
- Maintaining holiday records and business calenders
- Liaising with suppliers for vehicle repairs and facility maintenance issues
- Planning and conducting employee engagement activities – rewards, team building events etc
Key Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience within HR gained in a Logistics, fulfilment, warehouse or e-commerce environment
- Financially astute and able to compile data for reports
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- CIPD qualified would be advantageous but this would be supported for the right candidate.
