Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to support a leading wholesaler, who hold a significant network of stores as well as a sophisticated multi-channel offering within their niche market.
They are looking for a Head of Operations to effectively lead one of their Distribution Centre.
The ideal Candidate will have prior experience leading a team within a large-scale operation, feeling confident delivering a business strategy that will encourage a culture of continuous development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring the DC operation meets customer expectations.
Lead and engage your teams in the delivery of all new projects and change initiatives.
Drive KPIs and productivity across the DC to manage costs, accuracy and recycling revenue.
Lead and encourage a culture of continuous improvement amongst your team.
Drive Health and Safety accountability across the DC, liaising with the Health and Safety Team to maintain high levels of safety and boost staff well-being.
Key Skills/Experience:
Experience leading a team of 50+ people on site.
Be able to utilise your prior experience to add value and deliver a strong business strategy.
Be able to interpret data confidently in order to suggest potential areas for development.
Be able to understand business priorities from senior leaders.
You are motivated by a culture of continuous improvement and are able to work collaboratively with others in order to achieve this.
