James Chandler is a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Bis Henderson Recruitment, specialising in logistics and transport recruitment, supporting clients with permanent hiring across the supply chain landscape.

With over a decade of experience in recruitment, James has built a strong track record working with leading 3PLs and retail organisations, placing talent from frontline leadership through to senior operational roles. He began his career recruiting IT roles into investment banking before moving into logistics – where he has remained, drawn by the pace, the people, and the variety the sector offers.

James takes a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to recruitment. He focuses on understanding the brief, managing the process end-to-end, and ensuring things run as they should. Known for his straightforward style, he values honesty, consistency, and doing what he says he will – qualities that underpin long-standing working relationships.

He enjoys the full recruitment lifecycle and the challenge that comes with it – working through a brief from initial conversation through to completion, and seeing it delivered properly.

Outside of work, James spends most of his time with his two children, balancing family life with a love of sport. He plays football, padel and tennis, and is a season ticket holder at Aston Villa. He also enjoys travelling when time allows – with his Labradoodle, Milky, never far behind.
