Charlie Underwood is an experienced recruitment consultant with a diverse background spanning executive search, contingent recruitment, and online talent attraction. Before joining Bis Henderson Recruitment, he worked with leading recruitment firms in the Property and Real Estate sectors, later expanding his focus to include Technical Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Automotive.

Having led a team of consultants in a previous role, Charlie brought both leadership experience and a broad, cross-sector perspective when he joined Bis Henderson Recruitment in 2021. Today, he works closely with a wide range of clients to deliver high-quality permanent and executive-level supply chain recruitment solutions, using a consultative and relationship-led approach.

Charlie is known for building long-standing partnerships with clients, often becoming a trusted sounding board well beyond a single placement. What drives him most is solving real business challenges – placing people who make a lasting difference. He brings the same care and perspective to candidate relationships, supporting individuals as they take meaningful next steps in their careers.

As part of the wider team, Charlie also plays a key role in mentoring junior colleagues -offering guidance on client challenges and different approaches, drawing on his years of experience in the recruitment industry.

Outside of work, Charlie is a proud dad, a committed supporter of the Northampton Saints, and a keen golfer (on a good day). He’s happiest when spending time with his daughter – or watching a match, ideally followed by pizza.
