Transport Supervisor – Weekends
£30,000, 4 days per week.
Friday – Monday.
You must have exceptional transport and logistics knowledge, have a good knowledge of trunking and have a passion for customer service to exceed in this role with a well-known transport company. You will be the kind of individual who has the confidence to work totally independently, planning and supporting the delivery routes of multiple depots on a day-to-day basis but would be equally happy working collaboratively with operational management on continuous improvement strategies. You can expect to: –
Manage the driving team over the weekends and report any issues
Complete day-to-day route changes;
Support the full re-planning process
Review route performance KPI’s and analyse them to identify areas for improvement across service and cost.
Excellent IT skills are also essential including experience of Excel to an intermediate level; routing and scheduling software to a high level and a good knowledge of telematics and GPS tracking systems.
