Are you an experienced Supply Chain and Procurement Manager with a strong manufacturing background? My client is looking to hire a dynamic and engaging candidate to manage a team of 8 based at 2 locations in the UK.
Your experience, gained in a manufacturing setting, should include broad supply chain management, demand/supply planning, procurement/sourcing, ideally with a CIPS qualification. You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, mentoring and people development, and have experience of delivering positive change and improvement to supply chain and procurement functions.
Manufacturing is both in house at a number of facilities in the UK and overseas, along with 3rd party manufacturing suppliers and also sourcing and procurement of finished goods. Familiarity with ERP’s and strong analytical and excel skills are a prerequisite.
The business has a healthy pipeline into 2021 and the Supply Chain team is expanding to meet increased demand. There are real opportunities for career development and the VP Operations is a supportive leader who strikes a real balance between leadership and direction, whilst trusting his management team to work in an autonomous style.
