Specific industry knowledge is unimportant as you will have a strong technical support team, but knowledge of manufacturing or production would be a benefit. Other potential industries could include construction, technology, technical services, maintenance, or facilities. Most important is that you are commercially very adroit, with experience of acquisitions, sales or similar.
