This is a high profile business with a national network of operations. Its head office is based near Milton Keynes and employs around 500 staff. Over the next year the business is moving its facilities to a new, purpose-built location, close to its existing offices.
The new facilities are in the process of being finalised, and a Project Manager is required to mange the final stages of the migration to the new site. This will involve the development of a comprehensive relocation plan, covering all aspects of facilities from services, business continuity planning, security arrangements, risk management, IT and telecoms, space planning, furniture procurement and selection, management of external contractors and so on.
A key element of the project will be managing the communication plan with staff, and ensuring that any business disruption is minimised. The Project Manager will be required to manage the end-to-end project until full completion and hand-over.
You will be an experienced interim project manager, with excellent planning ability .It is important you can demonstrate that you have delivered similar project s in the past. Specific industry experience is unimportant, but you will have relocated businesses of 500+ staff.
