Health and Safety Manager – Logistics
As a health and safety manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a culture of continuous improvement, driving best in-class activity, safe working practices and operational safety excellence in-line with guidelines and objectives. Your role will involve examining corporate activities to determine where improvements can be made and ensuring compliance across the logistics organisation specifically within the warehousing functions.
You will be the driving force in leading a culture of continuous improvement for health and safety, reducing both physical and behavioural risks and thereby reducing the number and level of accidents and/or incidents in the RFC operations.
It is essential you have:
Working knowledge of relevant legislation and standards
Relevant professional qualifications, e.g. Nebosh
Health and safety management experience
Previous experience in an operational environment with proven knowledge of Health and safety, facilities management would be beneficial
Great coaching skills , communication skills
