Our client provides market leading SAAS solutions and is currently focussing on the further development of its solutions into the national postal and commercial parcel delivery market place. Already well established in this vertical, we now wish to recruit a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales UK and Europe to assist the business achieve its growth plans globally.
There is an extensive and warm contact base but it will be expected that you will source further potential clients as part of your role. You will be responsible for strategic sales planning and BD activities, development of market share and industry sectors, developing sales leads, pricing strategy for large scale opportunities, identify key customer contacts and ultimately negotiate and close “big ticket” deals.
Candidates should have a track record of success selling Enterprise Software with a strong preference for SAAS working in the Transport and Logistics sector. We would also welcome applications from candidates who understand the postal or courier market places, have sold complex and high value solutions and have a strong affinity to IT platforms and solutions.
You must be a self starter, great presenter with strong financial and business acumen. Sound strategic thinking skills with an entrepreneurial sprit and a proven problem solving ability. UK and European travel will be expected as part of the role but location within the UK is flexible.
