General Manager Edinburgh & Glasgow area £80,000 – £90,000 plus package
This is an international outsourcing group with activities across the security, government, defence, logistics and transport sectors. The company is very successful, profitable and has a reputation for innovation and its use of technology.
In this role, you will enjoy managing an operation of one of its specialist divisions.
This will involve managing the day-to-day operations via a leadership team, as well as working closely with customers. Customer service and client engagement is absolutely a must. The operation is highly efficient with tight controls over cost and performance; however, your role will be to push these metrics to increasing levels in order to maintain the company’s position as market leader.
Your background will be in multi-site operational management, leading large unionised teams and have experience of delivering organisational change. Must have managed closed book accounts and be very commercially aware. Industries could include security, logistics, infrastructure or transport.
