Finance Controller – Logistics
£80K – £100K
My client are a newly formed logistics business based in London. We are looking to appoint a Finance Controller to set up the financial operations including chart of accounts, choosing,configuring and integrating the accounting systems, controls and protocols, credit control, terms of trade, back office processes.
You will manage all statutory accounting and accounting operations, preparing and publish timely management accounts, coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting, coordinating the preparation of budgets, managing month-end and year-end closes, managing all compliance and quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. You will assume responsibility for Treasury, support the Senior Management Team whilst managing and developing the finance team.
You will be a fully qualified accountant, starting out life in one of the “Big 4” accounting firms, demonstrated team management experience, experience within a logistics and distribution organisation or high volume low price operation type industries. Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, experience leading Audits with good communication skills, strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
