Home-based with travel into London
We are working on behalf of a leading, private equity backed, distribution business and looking to appoint an Account Manager. As the main point of contact for all client issues, the key purpose of this role is to manage the relationship between the client and the distribution business, deliver agreed new business revenue targets from an existing and new to business client base, provide a high level of service, maintaining excellent working relationships with key clients and ultimately promoting the business proposition.
You will have an account management background within the logistics industry, with experience of managing large corporate (£m+ revenue) accounts, ideally with a retail or FMCG bias. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport, strengthen existing relationships and influence at all levels.
