A leading independent charitable healthcare organisation has an exciting opportunity to join in a new key role, which will support the operation in ensuring that third party contractors providing outsourced services are meeting the required standards set out in contracts and KPIs.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Outsourced Procurement Contracts Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and will be responsible for the day to day management of external contract relationships and will monitor and report on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and monitor supplier performance against Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure supplier performance meets or exceeds contractual obligations
- Establish and maintain contract alert systems
- Responsible for driving service improvements with suppliers and identifying additional areas of value enhancement
- Responsible for driving further value from existing contracts through standardisation / rationalisation
- Arrange and attend supplier review meetings to discuss performance and required improvements
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders to ensure suppliers meet the required standard
- Report on a monthly basis on contract performance and key issues
- Responsible for resolving issues and implementing system improvements where required
- Analyse usage data from Hospital systems and/or suppliers
- Support tender processes and ensure tender specifications and required service levels as appropriate to ensure that quality and value for money are achieved
- Be the key point of contact for external and internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
- A demonstrated track record in managing outsourced contract relationships and performance
- Experienced in the implementation of new outsourced contract relationships
- Excellent communication and stakeholder & supplier relationship building skills
- Management and reporting of KPI performance
- Experienced in managing tendering processes
- Good analytical skills
- Candidates from a variety of industry backgrounds with relevant experience are welcomed
