Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Head of PMO to work for a growing 3PL business. This role will take responsibility for the overall governance of all change projects within the business. This covers all major cross-functional and strategic projects as well as wider continuous improvement initiatives and transformational programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with a passion for programme management and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use PMO tools and methodology to deliver assigned projects
- Take responsibility for resource planning and strategic capacity planning
- Accurate reporting of performance, savings and KPIs
- Oversee a team of 4 Continuous Improvement Managers
- Champion change and transformation efforts, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in programme management, preferably within the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and leading change initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is desirable.
