An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Export Administrator to work for a specialist global High Technology solutions provider. You will have some experience in the administration of exports and the desire to learn and progress your career in the area of international trade compliance, as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A genuine interest in export control and drive and desire to enter and quickly progress in this part of international trade compliance.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure export administration processes are completed without error.
Some understanding of UK export controls. US re-export control is desirable but not essential.
Excellent administration and organisational skills.
Ideally experience with the movement of regulated or controlled goods.
Responsibilities will include:
Obtaining and determining export ratings
Completing customer export compliance requests
Managing due diligence and reviewing new orders, ensuring export ratings and appropriate licences are in place.
Manage queries from the sales teams and customers relating to export controls, offering guidance on applicable legislation where required.
