Salary: Circa £50,000 basic + bonus and benefits
Our client are a rapidly growing, fast-paced and dynamic ecommerce business with a strong foothold in the order fulfilment market.
As they continue to expand, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on new business within the UK and European markets.
The role is essentially field based but periodic access to the Bristol head office will be required.
Pursue leads created by dedicated in house Marketing & Lead Generation teams.
Negotiate with both B2C and B2B customers to seek to close down big ticket deals.
Position their ecommerce fulfilment solution with prospective new customers and identify challenges and obstacles to order closing.
Populate and develop sales funnels with strategic customers to ensure that a steady pipeline of transactions are being delivered.
Report activity levels, challenges and successes with senior stakeholders internally and advise on competitive market information.
An accomplished new business professional with a network of contacts perhaps from the Parcels industry.
A demonstrable track record of success in generating new business sales preferably with big ticket customers.
An ability to build trust and credibility with key customers and identify opportunities to maximise customer spend.
Comfortable pitching, presenting and closing at senior management level.
A pre-existing understanding of the ecommerce fulfilment industry.
An organised, creative person with well-developed communication skills.
